DeArbea B. Walker
Hey there, thanks for stopping by. My name is DeArbea Walker, and I'm an editor at Forbes and an award-winning freelance reporter with a passion for storytelling. I've written for Business Insider, Yahoo Sports, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Forbes, NBC Sports, the Center for Public Integrity and more.
In 2023, I won the beat reporting National Headliner Award for my investigation, "Who Counts," an 8-part series examining changes in voting access in the US.
I have an eye for human-interest tales that typically do not make their way onto mainstream media.
I hold a Bachelor(s) of Science degree from Syracuse University, in Journalism and Marketing Management.
